How to Cut and Paste

It's not hard, really!

When people say 'cut and paste', they really mean 'copy and paste'. You need to know how to do this, otherwise you'll have to enter each code letter by letter. Not only is that time consuming and no fun at all, but mistakes are likely to happen.

Basically, here's how to go about it:

  • Use your left mouse button to highlight the text.
  • Copy by pressing Ctrl-c
  • Go to where you want to paste the text and press Ctrl-v to paste it in.

If the Ctrl-c and Ctrl-v things aren't your thing, you can press the right mouse button once you highlight the text as an alternative. A menu will come up and from there you can copy or paste.

Everyone at one time was new to computers or the Internet, and even the best webmasters had to learn how to do this.

I've found a great page that explains it quite well. It will only take a few minutes to read through and it's definitely worth it:
